Soul Calibur IV

Oh, so that's why we got a new trailer today. Namco Bandai have announced that Soul Calibur IV will be released in North America on July 29, in both vanilla and metal-box-collectors edition varieties. Those throwing down the $80 for the premium edition will get the standard, afore-mentioned metal box, a comic book, a "tournament kit" (no idea what that actually is) and access to "extra customization content".

Out of the complete Soul Calibur 4 cast, 33 characters have been revealed like Ivy and Tira, but we thought it was time to list the Soul Calibur 4 characters below that have been confirmed for the upcoming July 29th, 2008, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 fighting game.

Vader will be on the PS3 and Yoda will be on the Xbox 360, however it was stated in issue 179 of GameInformer magazine that “Namco was nice enough to concede that the second characters may be available for download on the respective consoles at a later date.”

Well the Create a Character feature will fill some of the gap that certain character r missing. Hopefully the new feature will balance the gameplay especially the breakable armor feature.

Aight here my review of the game. First the intro to SC IV is fuckin awesome. Second some of the characters in the game has been toned down or beefed up to the fuckin extreme. Character creation is very well tuned and useful. Unlocking system is phenomonal(online and offline) PS3 version online 4 or 5 bar recommended for best play. Xbox 360 don't know yet. Exclusive characters Yoda,Vader, and the Apprentince has taken the game to a whole new level. Just now updated if u got the LE u got the option to download the SC 1 soundtrack as stage music and unlock some character creation items which i do have now. For character Ivy( best throw can't b buffered during moves no more), Siggy( godlike now speed improved and power) Nightmare( same as siggy), tira( much better on IV than three) mitsu(everyone gonna abuse him to the extreme except for d K,B goes into launcher now) cervy(omfg a force to b know in the hand a pro), taki(toned down just a bit) X(i can offically laugh at her ass now cause no more sidestep B, now it SS N B, so ppl can't abuse it anymore.) Maxi( still the same except improved stance). Taunt is allowed during the match. Brand new is the Critical Finisher which is the same as one hit kill. Now blocking too much have a severe penalty this time(removal of armor which increase damage taken). Loading time is very quick. Grabs is much harder to break due to time frame. When round end it goes to the next one without highlight of last round.

Character creation i've cn online so far
"The Hulk" using raphele style
R. Kelly using mitsu style
And more on the way soon.

Graphics A
Gameplay A
Story B( u will know y in the story mode)
Online B( depending on which console u own)
Overall A
